Highlights
The lodge has cottages in addition to lodge rooms. We stayed in one of the cottages and I was thoroughly impressed. Many national park accommodations lack style and decor but this lodge had both. I loved all the eco-friendly touches from shampoo and conditioner dispensers to ceiling fans to recycling bins. There is dining on-site at the upscale Mural Room, the family friendly Pioneer Grill, and the classic watering hole, The Blue Heron. Sit by the fire in the lobby while viewing the Tetons through the enormous windows. The views from the deck off the lobby are unbelievable. People often spot moose, elk, bears, and beavers while taking in a Teton sunset. A pool and playground are located on site.
Good to know
The Coulter Bay Marina is just down the road where you can rent canoes, kayaks, motor boats, fish, and go on lake cruises. Float trips down the Snake River and horseback rides can be arranged through the hotel. Jackson Lake Lodge is a truly a fantastic family friendly resort.
