Out ‘n’ About Treesorts: Takilma, Oregon

Property
An all-treehouse bed and breakfast on 36 private acres backing up to National Forest Wilderness in southwestern Oregon. In addition to treehouses, this aerial wonderland has platforms, forts, swinging bridges, swings, and a zip line. For most kids, resident horses, ponies, dogs, and cats are the icing on the treecake. Accommodations offer varying levels of roughing it: all have electricity, not all have indoor plumbing. If, like me, you’ve become rather attached to indoor plumbing, be sure to ask for it when reserving.
Location
The town of Takilma is about 30 miles south of Grants Pass, Oregon off Highway 199. Nearby attractions include the Oregon Caves (45 minutes), the coast (1 hour), and Great Cats World Park (20 minutes). Crater Lake is 3 hours away if you want to catch it coming or going.
Sleeps
2-7.
Highlights
Sleeping in the treetops. Pony rides. Swinging bridges. Evenings around the campfire.
Good to know
This place is not for the acrophobic, or the funkyphobic. The treehouses have no locks, so leave your diamond tiara at home.
