Property

Situated right beside the ocean, less than ten minutes from Kennedy Space Center and under 45 minutes from Orlando, Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort is a great place for families wanting to take advantage of all the kid-friendly fun that Florida has to offer. Spacious suites with private bathrooms, full kitchens and huge balconies offer plenty of room to spread out and a pool filled with water attractions like super slides, a lazy river with water bombs and an in-water playground add to the fun. The resort also has a miniature golf course, a kid’s playground,  movie theater, tennis courts and much more.

Location
The resort is located directly on the beach and, if you can time your visit accordingly, it is the premiere viewing area to see NASA’s shuttle and rocket launches. If you have a budding astronaut on your hands, a visit to nearby Kennedy Space Center is a must. And for those thrill-a-holics, Orlando with its amazing theme parks is just a short drive away. Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort is also a short drive from Cocoa Beach where you can learn to surf and kayak with manatees.

Sleeps
4 guests in a studio villa and up to 10 guests in the two-bedroom deluxe villa.

Highlights
The best part about Ron Jon Cape Caribe resort has got to be the rocket launches. You can check Kennedy Space Center’s website for a launch calendar. A few steps to the beach and we could watch as the rocket or shuttle (we saw both) hurled through the atmosphere and into outer space. The second best part was the pool – heated with huge water slides, a lazy river with tons of fun water features and playground in the pool!

Good to know
Request the Oceanfront building if you plan to be down on the beach a lot. The Poolside building is huge and has easier access to the pool and other activities, but you do have to walk, or take the tram, to get to the beach from there.
