Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate: Anaheim, California

Property
The Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate is a convenient, no-frills place for families on their trip to Disneyland. There are not many hidden charges at this hotel since almost everything is complimentary: the buffet-style breakfast, parking, wireless, and their grocery buying service. There is not much of a pool scene, but most kids seemed to enjoy the pool anyway.
Location
The property is about ½ mile from Disneyland. For the brave few, it is within walking distance to the park. For those families with throbbing feet, the ART shuttle stops at the property and gets you to the park in about 5 minutes.
Sleeps
2-8. There are bi-level kid suites, with 2 bathrooms, available.
Highlights
Want to take a break from unhealthy, overpriced Mickey-shaped food? Whip up some sandwiches and snacks in the fully equipped kitchen to take into the park.
Good to know
This is a popular hotel and fills up quickly, so reserve your rooms at least a month in advance. Taking the ART shuttle is convenient, but not if you want to be at the park by 8.a.m.
