What’s New: Sand, Sushi, and Sauvignon Blanc
Did you know Travel Savvy Mom reviews family friendly hotels and vacation properties all over the world? We do. They’re right over there on the left, by region.
These reviews are written by moms for moms, and come with our “I am traveling with my kids – HELP ME!” stamp of approval. Here are three recent reviews to tempt you. Many thanks to the moms who submitted them.
1. Outrigger Waikiki On the Beach Hotel: Waikiki, Oahu
Who can resist being made to feel like “the Queen of Paradise” at The Outrigger Waikiki? Plus, on a more practical but equally inviting level, they have a Hawaiian Airlines check-in kiosk at the hotel so you can avoid busy airport lines.
2. Nishi-Ogikubo Apartment: Tokyo, Japan
Check out this adorable apartment, in a residential part of Tokyo with it’s own downtown area. If location isn’t enough to persuade you to pack your bags, consider this: slippers are provided!
3. Larson Family Winery: Sonoma, California
Not only is the 4-bedroom Captain’s House on a winery, it has goats and donkeys for your kids to pet. With a wine sampler in hand, you’ll get no complaints from me.
Do you have a property you’d like to submit? We’d like that too. Please visit our top menu, click Write a hotel review, and fill out the form. It’s as easy as that.

The Nuremberg Spielzeugmuseum
Spielzeug means plaything, or toy, in German. Now, just say the word. Spielzeug. Indulge me and say it again. I know you may feel a little weird. But just let it roll around in your mouth to get a true feel for it. Spielzeug. Kinda fun, no?December 30th, 2009 @ 12:16 | Filed under Family Travel | 4 comments
