Great location for exploring Blarney Castle (kiss the Blarney Stone, and visit the woolen mills and craft shops). Cork City is nearby with its many monuments, Cathedrals, shops, restaurants, and food markets. The historic village of Kinsale is approximately a 40 minute drive and a great opportunity to see more of the countryside.
