The La Casa suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, dining room, screen porch, laundry room, and big screen TV. If the suite isn’t in your budget, the bungalows also sleep up to five. All rooms have a mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, air conditioning, and private porches with hammocks and rocking chairs. The property has a small pool, jacuzzi, and barbecue area, and breakfast is included.

Location
In the heart of the jungle, a 5-minute walk from Manuel Antonio National Park, a rainforest (and beach) of outstanding natural beauty and diversity. Also easy walking distance to the beach, and bars and restaurants. Just 3 miles south of Quepos, 3 ½ hours from San Jose by car, and 20 minutes by commuter plane.

Highlights
Abundant monkeys. Resident tame deer named Bambi. A pet parakeet. Movie night. Legendarily friendly owner and staff.

Good to know
Ask the American expat owner to help you organize tours and trips; he can steer you in the right direction. The Park is closed on Mondays. You really don’t need a car unless you are on an extended road trip.
