Location
The resort is on the north of San Juan Island, the most diverse of the main islands in the San Juan group, which lie off Seattle and Vancouver. It combines rocky shores with sandy beaches, lakes and forests, prairie and pastureland. Hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, fishing, and whale watching are very popular activities. The resort, a short car journey from the main town, provides some escape from the regular crowd and gives a sense of the old family vacation, where children can run wildly, swim and jump while parents relax and watch the sunset.
