Property
Situated on 35-acres, Steinhatchee Landing Resort features 50, one- to four-bedroom Victorian, Georgian and Florida “Cracker-” style cottages. The accommodations are equipped with televisions, VCRs/DVDs, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, screened porch and barbecue grill. Pets up to 28-lbs. are welcomed. The resort also has a pool and pavilion, as well as a children’s playground.

The property is 75 miles west of Gainesville, and less than a two-and-a-half hour drive from Orlando.

At Steinhatchee Landing Resort, families can be as active as they want or not. Perhaps the most popular activity guests enjoy here is scalloping. The resort can arrange for those excursions. Good to Know
High season is July 1 – September 10, the same time as scalloping season. Rates are lower during off-season. However, keep an eye out for packages offered by the property.
