A large upstairs guest balcony has glorious views across Sydney Harbour. The hotel prides itself by offering the personal touch: bikes, i-pod docking stations, cribs and baby baths. Location
The Manor is located in Cremorne Point on the prestigious North Shore of Sydney Harbour. The “Point” is a mere 8 to 10-minute, kid-delighting, scenic ferry ride to the major tourist attractions. Ferries are very much part of the Sydney lifestyle and should be experienced to appreciate this great city. Surrounded by glorious parkland, the Point provides abundant walking, a public harbourside swimming pool (kids will love it – warmer weather only!) and delightful picnic spots. Great restaurants abound, if picnicking isn’t on the agenda!

Sleeps
Very flexible for families–interconnecting rooms allow up to 3 rooms to be joined. The family room (book early) accommodates up to 5.

Highlights
A glass of red wine on the roof terrace, soaking in views, taking the ferry. Laundry on site. Unlike some of the larger hotels, the Cremorne Point Manor kindly doesn’t try to charge you for simple conveniences such as WiFi access.

When you stay in a city with kids, goodness knows the more flexibility the better. The York apartments are not only in a great location, but they have kitchens, laundry facilities and two bedrooms. Apartments have views and balconies to enjoy them from. The good news is if you want friendly staff, room service, restaurants, a fitness room and swimming pool, all are on site!

Location
2 minutes to public transport (including train to the airport) and to a supermarket. But it gets better: the hotel is centrally located, near the Rocks area and walking distance–if your kids can manage half a mile–to the main tourist attractions.

Good to know
The higher the room, the better the view. Also, the higher the room, the less the street noise.

If you are searching for a spacious apartment while visiting Sydney, look at the Meriton World Tower Serviced Apartments. All apartments are on the 62^nd floor or above, so the views over the city are fabulous. Check off all facilities – kitchen, laundry, room service, pool and more. The Apartments are part of a huge hotel, and come with the that big hotel feel – you’ll be very well taken care of, along with the other hoards staying there with you.

Location
The Meriton World Tower is situated in the Central Business District, which is very much more pleasant than it sounds. In fact, it’s a fabulous location as tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping and public transport are all within walking distance.

Good to know
Considered one of the best value-for-money stays in Sydney. Air conditioning seems to have a mind of it’s own. If you are driving, budget for parking fees!
