New Family Friendly Hotels in Limousin:
Château Ribagnac: Ambazac, France

Property
Château Ribagnac is a beautiful 17th century country estate, set in beautiful grounds in what is known as the French Lake District. With six towers, gorgeous interiors and exquisite bedrooms, the family-run hotel is a destination in itself. Luckily for us, they encourage family vacations and welcome children of all ages. Not enough? The Château specializes in fine dining using local and home-grown produce and – quite charmingly – serves a children’s dinner every night at 6pm.
Location
Château Ribagnac is in Limousin, in south-west France. The region is spilling over with beautiful scenery, historic houses and old French villages. The local town, Ambazac, has a good restaurant, several bars, bakeries and gift shops. There are family amusements, including steam railways, horse riding, cycling, markets, hot air balloons and, if all this isn’t enough, good old fashioned walking.
Sleeps
8 rooms, adaptable for all size families
Highlights
The Château is breathtaking, brilliant for families with young children, with wonderful food and charming hosts.
Good to know
Beautifully restored, the Château retains its authentic creaking and wooden floors, which may be noisy to some, charming to others.
