A four-star converted warehouse hotel in downtown Copenhagen. Rooms and suites have air conditioning, satellite television, and wifi. Both the junior suite and the suite can accommodate a family of four. Some have views. The hotel has room service, laundry service, and bike rental (for the very brave).

Location
The hotel is located in the Nyhavn district of Copenhagen with a view of the harbor. Many people are tempted to stay closer to Tivoli Gardens, but Nyhavn has quainter scenery and is less seedy at night. You’re only a few minutes walk to Amalienborg Castle, Kongens Nytorv and the pedestrian shopping street Strøget. You’ll also have easy access to vibrant waterside pubs and restaurants, the Little Mermaid statue, and harbor boat tours.

Highlights
Jumping in a rickshaw-style bicycle taxi (or two, depending on the size of your family) for the trek across town. Kids absolutely love this, and so will you when your kids stop whining about their sore feet. Visiting Tivoli Gardens, a charming amusement park just right for young children (and the inspiration for Disneyland).
