Property
A beachfront bed and breakfast with plantation-style villas and cottages on beautiful Ba Keo beach on Phu Quoc Island. The resort is intimate, has a private beach, and half of its two acres are tropical gardens. A irport transfers, daily breakfast, and housekeeping are included in their modest prices.

Location
Phu Quoc Island is off the southernmost tip of Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand, just 10 miles from Cambodia (about an hour from Ho Chi Minh City by plane). Phu Quoc is known as the Emerald Isle because of its unspoiled forests and beaches.

Sleeps
2-6.

Highlights
Diving, snorkeling, swimming. Island, reef, and forest tours. The managers are New Zealanders with young children of their own. They regularly organize casual treasure hunts, family soccer games, and “size matters” sand castle building contests when children are staying with them.

Good to know
June through September is the rainy season. There are fabulous discounts, and you can guess why. All rooms have mini-fridges, and there is a fantastic market just down the beach (20 minutes on foot, 10 by moped).
