Dar El Medina Residence: Tunis, Tunisia

Property
Once the home of a wealthy Tunisian family, this building has been renovated and is now a boutique hotel right in the heart of the winding streets of Tunis’ medina. The location is ideal, just steps away from the Great Mosque and the souk. The rooftop terrace affords a beautiful view over the medina.
Location
The only hotel in Tunis’ medina.
Sleeps
2-4. Rooms are fairly small.
Highlights
This is a great location to explore Tunis and we loved to relax in the afternoons up on the cushions of the roof terrace, with a copy of Arabian Nights. The Bardo Museum, with its excellent collection of Ancient Roman mosaics, is a must on any trip to Tunis.
Good to know
Breakfast is included in the price and is extremely good. The hotel is in the car-free medina of Tunis and you will need to walk a short distance from where taxis can drop you off. If you need assistance with baggage, arrange with the hotel in advance.
