Location
On the gorgeous island of Praslin, but quite isolated from the rest of the island. There is no road to reach it by car or bus, but there are shuttle boats which leave throughout the day to the main jetty.

Highlights
The sea is beautiful in the Seychelles. The cove is perfect for young children and nice for snorkeling and scuba diving. We loved renting a car for a day and exploring beautiful Praslin Island, including its interior and the enjoyable Vallée de Mai nature park and trails. Spending a day biking at nearby La Digue island, with its spectacular Anse Source d’Argent beach. Sailing to the other islands and snorkeling.

Good to know
This is isolated and quiet, which is just what we wanted, but others might consider this a disadvantage (e.g. not lots of planned activities, no kids club, etc.) Because there is no road reaching the property, you need to take a shuttle boat to connect with the rest of the island; it is a brief trip to the jetty, where there are buses or car rentals for the island and boats departing to other islands. Factor in a LONG trip to the property (after a flight to the main island of the Seychelles, Mahé, then a short flight to Praslin, a bus ride to the jetty and, finally, a boat ride to the hotel, you will really appreciate some R&R).
