Win a 26-day Trip through Central Asia
Somebody’s going to luck out — it might as well be you
Passports with Purpose (the annual travel bloggers’ fundraiser that does nice things around the world) is back.
Last year, it was libraries in Africa. This year, it’s wells in Haiti.
Here’s how it works: you make donations in $10 increments. Each $10 is like a raffle ticket that can be entered into an online drawing for whichever incredible travel prize catches your eye.
Personally, I can never choose just one.
A trip to a part of the world that’s just opening up to foreign travelers
My friend Michelle Duffy, the mastermind behind the excellent family adventure travel site WanderMom, has somehow talked Intrepid Travel into donating a 26-day trip along the Silk Road from Beijing to Xian, then through Kyrgyzstan and exotic Uzbekistan.
If you’ve ever longed to see Tiananmen Square and the Terracotta warriors or (blech) sample fermented mare’s milk, now’s your chance!
Bottom line? You could win this $4,000 trip with the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket. It gives me shivers just thinking about it.
How to enter
Peruse the list of prizes. Choose the ones you like — there are some good ones, but none better than this trip. Donate $10 for each entry (via PayPal). Sit back, relax, and wait for notification that you have won.
(As with most things in life, there are terms and conditions, but that’s what fine print is for.)
Need that link again? Donate to Passports with Purpose 2012. Good luck everyone!

I agree that this prize is just for WOW. Not sure how this magic happened, but am very grateful. Thanks for supporting PWP.
