Going Everywhere with EveryTrail

Here at Travel Savvy Mom, we get asked a lot about the nitty gritty details of our trips – where we went, how we got around, where and what we ate, where a semi-clean restroom might be found and, more often than not, where the nearest exit of a given attraction is.  (Trust me – it’s a necessary evil when you have kids in those crazy tantrum phases).

We help out where we can – but there are a lot of details to be shared when you are gallivanting with kids.  Often too many to remember off the top of your head.  That’s why we were psyched to find a new tool to help  – EveryTrail.

What is EveryTrail?  Well, it’s a super cool application you can use both online and on your iPhone.  You can go online to check out trips that other people have posted with GPS and map information and photos.  (I’ll admit to being a hard-core browser – it’s a great way to get ideas for future trips).  Or, if you are feeling adventurous, you can create your own trip – as you go using your iPhone or online later – complete with all the information anyone else might ever need (and photos, video and tips, ‘natch) to share with family and friends.  Or, you know, your favorite travel community.

We’re very excited to announce our new partnership with EveryTrail, a great organization that appreciates that the devil is in the details when it comes to family travel.  We’ll be posting some of our favorite family-friendly guides on our dedicated partner page on the EveryTrail website – as well as linking to them on our own posts.

And if you’d like to get on the EveryTrail boat, simply visit the EveryTrail website or download the iPhone application.  It’s a great way to share the details when you travel.
