We LOVE the Science Center and go every summer. It looks about 50 years old, but the content inside is absolutely fun for kids of all ages. The place is massive, so even when it's peak season and super busy, there's plenty of space for everywone. Love the hair!

If you aren't planning to get out of town when in Toronto, another great spot to go to is the Riverdale Farm (http://www.toronto.ca/parks/riverdalefarm.htm). You can take a street car there (another fun thing to do with kids) and have a great afternoon of seeing animals and playing in the park.

The Ontario Science Center is the best hands-on science I have ever been to. It is a DO NOT MISS with kids (or child like adults -ahem). At the falls, older kids should visit Goat Island where you almost feel like you are going over the falls. Watching melting ice blocks go over in the spring is awesome as well (better on US side at lower viewing area).
