Monterey is always a fun getaway for us. In fact, I think we did Monterey for our first hotel stay after having two kids. Thanks for the post, it reminds me that we need to get back there!

The beaches around Monterey are awesome too. Too cold to swim, but sandy and cool to paddle in.

Oh I love Monterey. I suddenly have a huge craving for some clam chowder while listening to sea lions bark. Homesick for Norcal…
