Our own Sascha Zuger has a hilarious and heartbreaking story in the Christian Science Monitor today that will strike fear into the hearts of traveling moms everywhere.  When her son was just a little tyke, they took a tour of Gibraltar—the British territory at the southernmost tip of Spain.

When they climbed out of the van to view the colony of wild Barbary macaques that live there, the guide cautioned them not to bring food items.  Sascha prudently heeded this advice, never suspecting her son’s beloved stuffed giraffe “Baby” would prove equally tempting.

Ugh.
