Travelzoo. Part Two.
A couple weeks ago I booked a trip to San Francisco through Travelzoo’s weekly Top 20 list, and reviewed the experience for this site.
The scoop is this: the hotel was swanky (the 4-star Westin St. Francis), the room was recently renovated (and huge), and the view was of Union Square (unobstructed).
At $220 for a Saturday night, I thought it was a great deal.
Travelzoo’s weekly Top 20 list will work best for parents who are flexible (I’m looking at you mothers of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers). Those of us who are tied to school schedules will find good deals too, we’ll just have to look a little harder. It’s worth subscribing.
For a closer look at the Westin St. Francis, check out this video we shot (I just couldn’t bear to leave it on the cutting room floor!):

Jamie, you are a natural. Great video. Favorite bit – when Avery pulls Max out of the revolving door. Second favorite – jumping on the beds. I will definately check out Travel Zoo. Thanks.
I love Westins!! Great view!
The Westin’s heavenly bed is just about the best thing a sleep-deprived parent could ask for.
The best part is your kids in the video. What troopers! My son’s would never be as cooperative and theatrical. Very impressive. The room was in a great spot too.
