Oh. My. Gosh. I read this and realize just how much I’ve missed reading your writing. (I’ve been remiss at visiting you here) There was (is?) a Josephine Tussad’s World of Wax in Hot Springs (about an hour from Little Rock) that I used to go to as a kid…and never understood why I was drug there. Hated it! So I completely “get” this post!

Sounds like it really wasn’t a good place to go in London with kids! Rebecca, please please tell us what your favorite kid-friendly outings were! I’m taking mine to Oxford and London this March and I welcome all suggestions!

Rebecca, you just trampled on my childhood. I LOVED Madame Tussauds when I was young. However, I used to bug my mum to take me, and she hardly ever did! Probably bored her silly.I imagine it also helps if you are English. I loved all the Kings and Queens. I need to go there right NOW!

This is hilarious! Sounds like that guide book was a dud for sure. On the other hand, a trip that goes perfectly is so much less interesting…
