Old World City Stays
Here are some recent property reviews from three of the most historic, beautiful cities in the world. Thank you to the mothers who submitted them.
1. Hotel Cecil: Athens, Greece
The rooftop patio with amazing views of the city and the Acropolis is enough to persuade me to stay in the charming Hotel Cecil, when visiting Athens. Also, the Greek yogurt with honey as part of the all inclusive breakfast.
2. Hotel Cosmopolita: Rome, Italy
This boutique hotel is in the heart of Rome, walking distance from the historic Forum, the Coliseum, the Italian fashion area, and many sidewalk cafes. Need I go on? OK, I will. It’s also near public transport to get you over to the castle and Vatican.
3. Ramada Hotel and Suites: Cork, Ireland
Situated in the beautiful Shournagh Valley and 3 miles from Blarney Castle, the Ramada is an ideal spot to explore the stunning Irish city of Cork and its beautiful coastline.
Do you have a property you’d like to submit? We’d like that too. Please visit our top menu, click Write a hotel review, and fill out the form. It’s as easy as that.

I stayed at the Cecil Hotel in Athens as well. It was wonderful because it was convenient, but on a quieter street. Plus the tiles on the roof next door had feet at the gutter.
The old world is SO amazing. Thanks for the confirmation, Meg.
