My Narcoleptic Husband

Last week’s photo of Kayt’s son snoozing on the airport floor reminded me of one of my favorite travel photos of all time. It’s obviously not very nice to throw your spouse under the bus, but sometimes it’s unavoidable.

Even when conditions are ideal, it’s rare for me to sleep on a plane. My husband is another story. This photo was taken on a short hop from Madrid to Seville last year and we have dozens just like it from other flights in other places.
My favorite part is the guy in the red shirt who is obviously thinking, “Dude, your wife is such a shrew.”
We’re not only cracking ourselves up, but also participating in Delicious Baby’s Photo Friday with this post. Head on over there and check it out.

I just want to stick something – ANYTHING! – in his mouth. Just to see what might happen…
At least you were kind enough to wipe the drool off before taking the photo.
You will pay for this . . .
I’m just waiting for my kids to get a little older so that I can start falling asleep in funny positions on planes again ;)
This is hilarious. And I can so relate…I have taken many a similar photo of my husband!
Haha…I agree the smirking man really makes the photo.
What a great shot – it’s the look on the two “wakeful” faces that make this a priceless image!
Hahahahahahahahaha!

Hey, at least he probably got to his destination well-rested! That’s more than I can say when I travel by plane

There should be a support group for husbands like ours who never know when they might make an online appearance (particularly in bathing suits – thanks, honey!).
rofl.
I have similar photos of my falls-asleep-as-the-plane-is-taking-off husband.
Hats off to you for posting this one :)
