Musee D’Orsay, You Don’t Say!

There are a lot of museums in Paris. A lot. And believe it or not, they all don’t reside within the Louvre.
One of my favorite museums, especially when you are talking about bringing the kids along, is the Musee D’Orsay. A former train station converted into a fabulous modern museum, it couples a world-class impressionist art collection with room for your children to move. Could you ask for anything more? (If you just answered chocolate to that hypothetical question, I should also add that you can get that and then some at the Museum’s incredible Cafe des Hauteurs).
So when folks ask me what they shouldn’t miss during a family trip to Paris, I tell them to definitely visit the Musee D’Orsay. You should, too.

Hilarious. My teen and tween were more into the cafe than the art there…sigh…
I do say! One of my favorite museums. Thanks for the virtual visit today — just mentioned d’Orsay in my post this morning and very much have Paris on the brain. ;-)
