Heading to Paris with kids?  Bring Travel Savvy Mom along

Last year, we announced a partnership with EveryTrail, a unique brand of iPhone travel guides.

Well, we’re pleased to tell you that we finally have a few guides up for you to check out.  If you happen to be heading to Paris with the kids this summer, why not download one of three off-the-beaten track walks?  They highlight sites and landmarks, playgrounds for kids to blow off steam, restaurants and pit stops–as well as some history and tips.

Paris with Kids

1.  A-Rambling in Paris:  Marais to the Latin Quarter:  If you and your kids tend to be noshers on the road, this is the guide for you.  You don’t even have to feel that guilty about all the great food since you’re walking.

2. Jardin des Plantes Menagerie:  The main Paris zoo in the 12th Arondissement is still closed.  But even once it opens, the Jardin des Plantes Menagerie is a small, cozy zoo in the heart of the city that the whole family will enjoy.

3.  Paris – Family Friendly 12th Arondissement:  I already waxed poetic about the advantages of staying further afield in Paris.  Here’s the guide that can help you see why.

Thanks so much for the great travel tips. I have a 9 month old and my hubby and I are planning to take her on her first flight. What should we anticipate? I can imagine how hard its gonna be lugging everything. Is it better to carry own car seat or should we rent a car with one. It seems a bit more sanitary if we bring our own. What do you think?
