		<description>It is really impressive when small kids from other countries know things better than some kids or even adults from our places. But I guess they might be having some night schools or something like that were they get these informations from.</description>

I&#039;ve done that kind of thing before too in India - it&#039;s easy to get into a knee-jerk &quot;just say no&quot; mindset.</description>

		<description>Know the feeling. Brought back memories of traveling in South America, and getting off the train to a lot of kids selling crafts, and feeling so overwhelmed, I wanted to help them all. I was young then, but I think now I would handle it differently.</description>

		<description>Fascinating! I&#039;m always surprised at how little some people know about their own country or its immediate neighbors...let along knowing anything about countries many miles away from them.
Reminds me of a time I was in a club in Ottawa. Some folks at the table next to us asked where we were from, and when we answered &quot;Detroit&quot;, one of the women piped up to ask &quot;Is that near Boston?&quot;
I can&#039;t say folks here in the US are any better in many cases, though.</description>
