I visited Berlin in October 2007, after attending the Spiel game convention in Essen, and was astonished by the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. From a distance, the Memorial looks like a playground, but once you enter it, the ground sinks and the "steles" rise around you, tilting this way and that and making you disoriented. An engrossing experience that I wrote about on my site, BoardgameNews.com: http://www.boardgamenews.com/index.php/boardgamenews/comments/w_eric_martin_postcards_from_berlin_21_the_unexpected_columnist/
