The aquarium at Strangford Lough is well worth a visit but a bit pricey. A great day that we always enjoy with our whole family is a wee ride on Drumawhey Model Train - all outside but they never tire from taking rides and just watching the engines. If all else fails a trip to National Trust property Mount Stewart is great in all kinds of weather and they have a kid friendly coffee shop.
