Katherine Barrett is Canadian and living in the Western Cape of South Africa with her husband and three young sons. She holds a PhD in Botany and Applied Ethics and has published many academic papers as well as fiction and creative nonfiction. Katherine is currently assistant editor for the online fiction magazine, Page Forty-Seven, co-editor of reviews at Literary Mama, and “Mother City Mama” columnist at Literary Mama.
