Julie Breitigan discovered the joys of traveling with children after moving to Germany from Pennsylvania with two very young children.  Since then, she has embraced her wanderlust and journeyed with her husband and daughters to thirteen different countries and is convinced that when traveling with children the most essential item to pack is a healthy sense of humor.

Her most memorable excursion was a nine-hour flight across the Atlantic on a military cargo plane alone with her one and two-year-old daughters, which she vows to never repeat. The Breitigan family is currently splitting their time between Germany and the States while experiencing as much travel as they can before kindergarten begins.
