Jody Mace lived in the Midlands of England for two years with her husband and two kids. They loved traveling around the UK and Europe, during which time they steered narrow boats down canals the wrong way, got strong-armed for bribes by Hungarian border police on a night train, and spent a lot of time on sidewalks in European cities, wondering where their hotel was.

Now they live in North Carolina, where she homeschools her son, and drives her daughter to school very early in the morning. Her travel these days is mostly around the southeast part of the United States.
