About Jessica Jacobson
Jessica Jacobson is an explorer, writer and mother. She has traveled to over 50 countries and studied nine languages. She is the author of Roaming Russia: An Adventurer’s Guide to Off-the-Beaten Track Russia and Siberia and a forthcoming guidebook to Kyrgyzstan. Her essays and articles have been published in The Christian Science Monitor, Skirt! Magazine, Notre Dame Magazine, Russian Life Magazine and a Traveler’sTales anthology, among other publications. She’s currently finishing a memoir about the year she spent as the first Western resident of a Siberian indigenous community. Jessica took her infant son on his first trip at age three weeks. By three months, he’d spent almost half his life on the road. She looks forward to his company as she continues her travels.
