Amy Canby and her adventure-seeking family have navigated many narrow European roads and slept in plenty of off-the-beaten-track accommodations. Changing diapers on Paris park benches, looking for a missing (and presumed stolen) rental car in Croatia, and worrying about her 2-year-old son’s raging fever in Bled Slovenia have all been part of the adventure. Now back in America after 11 years living in England and Austria, she looks forward to traveling through more familiar territory, reading menus in English and visiting expat friends she met abroad who are now conveniently sprinkled across the US.
